What is a CSA?

CSA aka Community Supported Agriculture aka fresh vegetable share aka farm-to-table membership aka veggies of the week club. Here’s what it means to us:

Health, cooking, good food, local, small business, slow money, anti big business, fun in the kitchen, sugar snap peas right into your mouth, Maine summers, land stewards, activists, fresh vegetables, fresh berries, humanely raised pork, happy pigs, new recipes, less grocery store lines, less shopping lists, more time outside, visits to the farm, smelling flowers, BLTs, tomatoes on everything, pickles, BBQs, picnics, community, town hall, no pesticides, no toxic chemicals, certified organic, good for the earth, good for your neighbors, good for you.

We know that a CSA is not for everyone. For those of you who love it, that’s great! Please consider reserving your share today. We are offering fresh veggies/herbs/fruits as well as pasture-raised pork and flower shares.

Sign up online here!

If a CSA is not for you, that’s great too! We will be at the Greater Gorham Farmers Market on Saturdays starting in May and at the Saco Farmers Market on Wednesdays starting in June.

We want to spread the good food far and wide. Please help us by sharing with family and friends. Happy spring!
